If you have had an accident at work, then you may feel that there is no point in making a compensation claim. However, if the accident was caused by negligence, then you are entitled to claim compensation. You will have to prove that the accident was not your fault, but if you find a good solicitor, then you should be able to do this.
You may wonder whether an accident at work claim will be a waste of time and money because they will be able to afford a good lawyer. But there are many good no win no fee solicitors out there and so you should be able to find one that is experienced in this sort of case and will be able to help you to get the support that you need.
It will still be your word against theirs, but with the help of a good solicitor, you should be able to put together a good case so you can put forward your side of the story. You may not win the case, but at least you will not regret not having a go. You only get a certain amount of time after the accident to be able to make an accident claim. If you miss this deadline and then decide you should have made a claim it will be too late.
The compensation can make quite a difference too. It will not take away the pain and suffering, but it will at least help your finances so that you will not have money to worry about on top of everything else. It can be something that will at least help you to get more medical treatment and make things more comfortable for you. It is certainly worth a try as it can make a difference.
